Brett Gold

Ore: Au-Cu-Mo

  Overview

The property is located approximately 29 kilometers west of Vernon in south-central British Columbia on the west side of Okanagan Lake. Vernon is approximately 400 km northeast of the city of Vancouver. The project is in close proximity to excellent infrastructure.

  Geology

To date, the main shear zone has been traced for a strike length of over 1,300 metres and downdip to a depth of 150 metres (possibly as deep as 500 metres, based on a single hole drilled on the neighboring property), and is open on strike and downdip. Based on the review of all available data, the Brett property hosts epithermal-style gold mineralization containing coarse gold, and has excellent potential of hosting an economically viable gold deposit. Five shear zones have been identified on the property through drilling and perhaps up to an additional 15 more shear zones traced via surface work. The property has demonstrated epithermal gold mineralization discovered on the property since the early 1980′s with high-grade bonanza vein style mineralization occurring along a northwest trending zone, and remains open on-strike and down dip. Low-grade bulk tonnage disseminated type mineralization also occurs on the property. Gold mineralization on the property appears to be a strongly related to the intersections between flat-lying interunit polymictic tuffaceous horizons and the northerly trending altered shear/fracture zone(s).
