  Overview

Monarch Gold holds a 100% interest in the Croinor Gold property, an advanced gold project that is currently at the prefeasibility stage. The property consists of one mining lease and two non-contiguous blocks of claims for a total of 335 claims over a 151 km² area. A 1.5% NSR is applicable on the mining lease and only 44 claims.

  Geology

The Croinor Deposit is hosted by the synvolcanic Croinor Sill. This dioritic sill is from 60 to 120 m thick and hosted within volcanic rocks of the Assup Domain. The Croinor Deposit is characterized by gold-rich lenses consisting of quartz-carbonate-tourmaline-pyrite veins, altered pyritic host rock material, and/or tectonic breccia (pyritic host fragments within a quartz-carbonate-tourmaline-pyrite vein).

  Location

The Croinor Gold property is located in the Abitibi region, approximately 57 km (about 75 km by road) east of the city of Val d’Or, in the province of Québec, Canada (Fig. 4.1). The approximate geographic centre coordinates of the Croinor Gold property are 77°01'20”W and 48°06'35”N (UTM coordinates: 349530E and 5330425N, NAD 83, Zone 18). The nearest settlement is Louvicourt, 27 km to the west of the property. The property lies in the Haig, Pershing, Tavernier, Tiblemont and Vauquelin townships and within NTS maps sheets 32C/02 and 32C/03. The surrounding land has an altitude of about 325 to 365 metres above mean sea level. The overall Croinor Gold property covers an area of 12,677.3 ha.
