Overview
The Philibert gold deposit (historical resources of 1.4 Mtm @ 5.3 g/t Au, 1990) is characterized by a shear zone cutting a gabbro sill of the Obatogamau Formation. The mineralization is composed of disseminated pyrite associated with a strong silicification of the host rock. The mineralized zones can be traced over a distance of 3 km.
